Minister Opens Burwood Station

The NSW Minister for Transport, The Hon John Robinson MLC, and the Hon Virginia Judge MP, Member for Strathfield, today officially opened the Easy Access Upgrade of Burwood Station.
Accompanied by Rob Mason, CEO of RailCorp, a number of RailCorp General Managers, and members of the local community, the Minister and local Member congratulated all involved on a very successful project.
"This is a major win for Burwood and will benefit more than 25,000 commuters who use this station everyday", Ms Judge said.
This project was one of Gartner Rose's most challenging projects, both technically and with the large numbers of commuters moving through the site on a daily basis.
