Penshurst Station

This design and construct project included:

- installation of easy access ramps
- installation of two lifts
- moving the ticket windows
- rebuilding of components of the station
- resurfacing of the platforms

It was important to ensure that the station was able to continue to operate at all times despite the construction work happening.

Occupational Health and Safety is of particular importance on this job given the presence of both the general public and moving trains.

Gartner Rose appointed Suters Architects to handle the design component of the project. Gartner Rose Project Manager worked with Suters and co-ordinated the team of other consultants to ensure a superb result for RailCorp and their Project Manager, Peter Page.

The easy access upgrading of Penshurst station is the latest in a long list of railway stations worked on by Gartner Rose Pty Ltd.
