Strathfield Signal Control Centre
Gartner Rose recently completed the design and construction of the Strathfield
Signal Control Centre for RailCorp of NSW. This facility is key to the smooth
running of the Sydney Rail Network.
Gartner Rose were entrusted with the job of designing and contructing this facility - made more difficult by the fact that the existing building on the site had to be progressively demolished whilst the new building was being constructed - during the works the site was fully operational with the signallers controlling the movements of trains within its control area.
With a design and construction cost of just under $10 million this was a significant project for Gartner Rose and we are proud of its success.
