Gartner Rose was appointed to reconstruct this waterside house in Double Bay by
Phil Corben of Corben Architects.
Site Foreman Richard Craven, who began this project after restoring the former "Whalers Arms" hotel in the Rocks, had the difficult task of maintaining certain existing components of the structure whilst building a new luxury house. Very close proximity to the site boundaries has introduced further challenges.
Project Manager Steve Williams worked closely with Architect Anita Hammill to ensure the extremely tight project timeline was adhered to.
The end result is a home befitting one of the finest residential blocks in Sydney.
