PROJECT COMPLETION - Waratah Station Upgrade
We are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the
Design and Construct upgrade at Waratah Station for Transport for NSW
(TfNSW) as part of the Transport Access Program.
Over 54 weeks of construction, 32,923 hours were worked to complete the
work required for Waratah Station Upgrade.
The upgrade included the installation of 3 new passenger lifts,
connecting the platforms to Hanbury and Platt Streets via the existing
footbridge. The project also included station entrance upgrades,
improvements to station facilities, formalised kiss and ride and taxi
zones, a new family accessible toilet and ambulant toilet and CCTV, PA
and OPAL upgrades.
A new ramp and pedestrian pathways were also constructed throughout the
station precinct.
The project complements our recent project completion at Wyee Station for TfNSW.
Congratulations and thank you to the Gartner Rose staff, TfNSW project
team, our subcontractors and suppliers for the safe and successful
completion of the Waratah Station Upgrade.
