PROJECT COMPLETION - Wyong Station Lift Replacement

Main Image
During 10 weeks of construction, including a possession weekend, 1,570 hours were worked to complete the lift replacement on the island platform at Wyong Station.

The project scope included the dismantling and removal of the existing lift followed by the installation of the new 17 passenger lift. Modification works to the existing lift shaft were undertaken to comply with new standards and accommodate the replacement lift car, including the installation of new high-level Louvres.

Associated civil works, fire protection services and electrical works including CCTV and lighting were also part of the scope for this project.

The works complement our recent lift replacement projects at Strathfield and Central Stations and currently underway project at Kogarah Station, all for Sydney Trains.

Congratulations to everyone for bringing this project to a safe completion and a special thank you to the project team, subcontractors and suppliers.
