Gartner Rose win heritage award

The NSW Minister for Planning, Kristina Keneally MP, today presented
Gartner Rose with the 2009 National Trust Heritage Award for Conservation
Built Heritage (Project over $1 million Corporate / Government).
This major award was for the sandstone conservation of 100 George St,
The Rocks, undertaken on behalf of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
Gartner Rose Project Manager, Marc Witham, congratulated all involved in
this significant project, and made special mention of the efforts of the
Gartner Rose foreman, Gary Male, and the client's representative, Graeme
Robertson for their efforts in bringing this project to completion.
Congratulations also to the chosen sub-contractor, Stone Mason and
Artist, for their dedication and superb efforts.
Following last year's Highly Commended award for the Boilerhouse project
at the National Trust Awards, this year's award cements Gartner Rose's
position as one of Australia's leading heritage conservation companies.
