Premier visits completed Cardiff Station

NSW Premier Barry O’Farrell, Minister for Transport Gladys Berejiklian and Charlestown MP Andrew Cornwell today inspected the improvements at Cardiff Station which has been upgraded by Gartner Rose to make it more accessible and safer for customers.

“It is great to see that commuters who could not previously access the station being able to do so from today, with the opening of two new lifts,” Mr O’Farrell said.

This challanging project involved extensions to both ends of the platform, complete resurfacing of the platform, new platform buildings and upgrading to the carpark, as well as the extension of the existing footbridge and the construction of two new lifts.
