Rose Seidler House Refurbishment
Gartner Rose were appointed by Sydney Living Museums to undertake refurbishment works within the Rose Seidler House at Wahroonga. The project involved a major electrical upgrade of the heritage-listed house which now functions as a museum. Associated works included roofing, waterproofing, cladding and painting.
Throughout the works, attention to detail was given to heritage fixtures and fittings as well as landscaped features to provide an authentic and sensitive outcome, emulating the original intent of the area. High-level coordination of building services including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and fire service upgrades was also executed paying respect to heritage aspects of the precinct. The project also involved the careful demolition of building elements all of which was successfully managed by the Gartner Rose Team.
