St John's College - Handrails
Gartner Rose were appointed by Hector Abrahams Architects on behalf of St John's College to construct and install the new steel handrails throughout the Mary Chapel and Entrance Hall of the 1868 heritage listed college. The steel handrails are mark Stage Five of the works Gartner Rose have completed at the college within the University of Sydney.
The works were undertaken within a live environment with careful planning to minimise disruption to the students living within the college.
This works complement our recently completed projects within the 1868 Wardell designed Gothic Revival building, including refurbishments, upgrade works and additions to various heritage sections of the college including the student carpark and commercial kitchen.
