Burwood Station Easy Access Upgrade
Gartner Rose is delighted to announce the successful completion of the
Burwood Station Easy Access Upgrade for RailCorp.
The new station was officially opened by the Minister for Transport, the local member and the CEO of RailCorp on 4 August 2010.
The works at Burwood Station involved a major refurbishment of the entire station, including the construction of 4 lifts, two large glazed atrium structures, a new ticket office, new concourse and family accessible toilets.
With a project value in excess of $12 million this was one of Gartner Rose's largest single site jobs, made extremely complex by the fact that over 50,000 passengers passed through the station each day.
