Bombo Wastewater Treatment Plant Roofing
Gartner Rose is delighted to announce the safe
and successful completion of the works at Bombo Wastewater Treatment Plant
for Sydney Water.
Sixteen weeks of construction were undertaken to reroof the
Administration, Chlorination and Chemical Storage buildings to maintain
their operational performance. All works were undertaken without
impacting the operation of this critical infrastructure for Sydney
Water.
The works involved the replacement of 842m2 of roof sheeting and the
repairs of structural steel members, all whilst protecting the interiors
of the buildings from water ingress.
Marine grade aluminium roof sheeting was used given the extremely harsh
conditions faced by this facility. Further scope of the works
included:
- Construction of a fire separation wall
- Replace/Repair all damaged steel and timber framing
- Replace/Repair eaves and soffits
- Replacement of the roller door and glazed entry door
Congratulations to everyone for delivering this job with a safe
completion.
