The project saw the completion of the refurbishment works for the
commercial kitchen within the beautiful 1868 heritage listed St John's
College at the University of Sydney.
Over 8 weeks of construction, 1,110 hours were worked to complete the
refurbishment of the commercial kitchen. With careful planning, the works
were undertaken within a live environment with no impact on College
operations or the residents living in the college.
The refurbishment works included the installation of a hygienic wall
system, further to new covering and waterproofing throughout. In
addition, all stainless-steel fixtures were rejuvenated, and all
equipment was reinstated to its original location.
The works complement our recently completed projects within the 1868
Wardell designed Gothic Revival building, involving refurbishments and additions to various
heritage sections of St John's College including the student carpark.
