Gartner Rose are delighted to be a part of such a significant project for Australia's heritage and convict history. As part of the $18 Million transformation, Gartner Rose are scheduled to complete the works required for the construction of a new lift to link all three levels of the Hyde Park Barracks Museum.

Originally designed by Francis Greenway, the Barracks was built by convict labour in 1817-1819 to provide accommodation for his fellow convicts.

Currently accessible by stairs only, the JPW designed works to the UNESCO World Heritage Listed building will start late January, 2019.
