RECENTLY COMPLETED - Beecroft Station Upgrade
The Transport Access Program is a NSW Government initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure across the state.
The upgrade will provide a station precinct that is accessible to those with a disability, limited mobility, parents/carers with prams and customers with luggage.
Customers at Beecroft will benefit from two lifts, one from Wongala Crescent to the station underpass, and the other to the station platforms. Additional benefits include an improved access to the existing family accessible toilet, improvements to footpaths and accessible parking, and enhanced CCTV, lighting and wayfinding signage.
The project is expected to be complete in 2022.
The project will complement our recent station upgrade projects as part of the Transport Access Program at Wyee and Waratah stations.
