Niagara Park Station Upgrade
The Transport Access Program is a NSW Government initiative to provide a better experience for public transport customers by delivering accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure across the state.
The upgrade will provide a station precinct that is accessible to those with a disability, limited mobility, parents/carers with prams and customers with luggage.
The main activities include the installation of three new lifts to connect the platforms and both commuter car parks to the existing footbridge as well as upgrades to the station entrance. Further work will include a new kiss and ride to the commuter car parks, new accessible pedestrian footpaths and crossings as well as upgrades to power, lighting, security and wayfinding.
The project is expected to be complete in 2022.
The project will complement our recent station upgrade projects as part of the Transport Access Program at Wyee and Waratah stations.
