Newtown Station Upgrade Project Completion

We are delighted to announce the safe and successful completion of the Newtown Station Upgrade project for Transport for NSW.

This Project was in construction for 24 months and was carried out above six live Railway Tracks and a working inner city station platform.

Total pedestrian movements through construction zone over 24 months = 8,668,000.

Total Train Movements through construction zone over 24 months = 151,296 x 8 car sets.

Thanks to the project team and subcontractors who assisted bring this project to a safe and successful completion.
