Niagara Park Station Project Completion
Gartner Rose are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the Niagara Park Station for Transport NSW.
The Design and Construct upgrades at Niagara Park, Ourimbah and Beecroft Stations for Transport for NSW (TfNSW) were delivered as part of the Transport Access Program (TAP3). TAP3 aims to provide a safe and enhanced travelling experience for public transport commuters by delivering easily accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure. Within this program, the completed station works will improve the accessibility of the station for the community.
Niagara Park Station Upgrade saw various station facility upgrades including the installation of three new passenger lifts to connect the platforms to both commuter car parks on Washington Avenue and Morreau Road via the existing footbridge as well as upgrades to the station entrance.
Further key activities included:
- New stairs and access ramps to various sections of the station
- Power supply upgrade
- Platform resurfacing
- Upgrades to lighting, wayfinding and security.
