Successful WE37 Possession Niagara Park Station

We are delighted to advise the safe and successful utilisation of the WE37 track possession over the weekend of the 13th and 14th of March at Niagara Park Station.

Over the possession weekend, 135 persons worked a total of 1,342 hours to complete 100% of the work required and the station was ready for commuters by Monday morning.

For this possession at Niagara Park Station, Gartner Rose undertook the precast lift shaft installation of Lifts Two and Three, followed by the installation of their structural steel roof sheeting and canopies. During the lift shaft install, precast piling was undertaken at Lift One location utilising a 60t percussive piling rig to drive 8 piles – a total of 102 lm (36t) of the precast pile was installed. IMSB / Transformer installation was also undertaken, and new cables were pulled into position ready for commissioning after the possession.

Pedestrians were able to safely utilise the pedestrian bridge while it remained open throughout the works with traffic control management and monitoring of nearby danger zones. All work undertaken was completed without any incidents.

Congratulations and thank you to the Gartner Rose staff, Transport for NSW Project Team, our subcontractors, and suppliers for the effective utilisation of this possession at Niagara Park Station.
