Project Award for Barrenjoey High School

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by the Department of Education to undertake roof replacement works at Barrenjoey High School.

The scope of works includes:

• Reroofing, re battening and insulating four double storey ‘donut style’ classroom blocks approximately 1,000m2 each. All existing horizontal wall cladding will be removed and replaced with Colorbond Ultra Spandek
• Stripping and reroofing of the 1,000m2 canteen and covered sports area, replacement of box gutters, sheets and parapet linings with Colorbond ultra Kliplok and flashings
• Stripping and reroofing of 1,600m2 school hall and sports centre
• Replacement of fascia purlin, wire, insulation, gutters, roof sheets, skylights and roof ventilators

These works will be undertaken in a live school environment, with works set to commence in December 2017, with an expected completion date of March 2018.
