Project Award for Campbell’s Cove Promenade Upgrade

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by Place Management NSW to undertake promenade upgrade works at Campbell’s Cove in The Rocks.

The upgrades include levelling and widening of the existing promenade to 10-metres, a waterfront leisure area and amphitheatre for public events, east-west connections from the promenade to Hickson Road and The Rocks, and enhanced connections to the new Overseas Passenger Terminal wharf extension.

Lighting and signage will also be improved throughout the precinct and increased wheelchair accessibility will encourage a greater flow of visitors to the area.

The NSW Minister for Finance, Services and Property, Victor Dominello, said the waterfront changes will protect the heritage fabric of the precinct for future generations and improve public open space for visitors.

This project follows the award winning success of The Goods Line urban revitalisation project previously undertaken for the same client.
