Project Award for Mortdale Maintenance Centre Awning

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by Sydney Trains for the Design and Construction of a new awning at Mortdale Maintenance Centre.

The new cantilevered awning will be constructed over the external tracks that run to the North of the Lift Shop building to provide weather protection for the new bogie units.

The scope of work will include, but not be limited to:

• Design of proposed awning
• Demolition of concrete topping slab
• Installation of new footings to suit awning
• Construction of a galvanised steel structure
• Installation of roof sheeting and wall cladding
• Installation of lighting to the awning
