Niagara Park Station Upgrade
The Design and Construct upgrades at Niagara Park Station were delivered as part of the Transport Access Program (TAP). TAP aims to provide a safe and enhanced travelling experience for public transport commuters by delivering easily accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure. Within this program, the completed station works will improve the access of the station for the community.
The project involved various station facility upgrades including the installation of three new passenger lifts to connect the platforms to both commuter carparks on Washington Avenue and Morreau Road via the existing footbridge, as well as upgrades to the station entrance.
Further key activities included:
- New stairs and access ramps to various sections of the station
- Power supply upgrade
- Platform resurfacing
- Upgrades to lighting, wayfinding and security
