Rozelle Switching Substation

Gartner Rose successfully completed the new Sydney Trains Switching Substation for John Holland and CPB Contractors Joint Venture within the Rozelle Rail Yards as part of the WestConnex 3B Rozelle Interchange Project.

During 25 weeks of construction, 5,200 hours were worked to construct the new switching substation which included a bathroom fitout, louvres and louvred doors with zinc roofing and cladding.

Civil works included new kerbs, installation of bollards and asphalt surfacing further to new storm drainage. Gartner Rose also completed the installation of fencing and gates to the site.

Significant electrical conduits were also installed to allow the commissioning of the substation.
