St Paul’s College Performance Centre and Gym Fitout

The project involved the fitout of a new Performance Centre and Gym Extension in the lower ground area of the Ivan Head and McMillan Buildings, St Paul’s College, within the University of Sydney.

The scope of works included:

• Demolition of existing non-structural block walls
• Isolation and removal / alteration of the existing services
• Coordination, design and installation of hydraulic, mechanical, fire and electrical services
• Construction of acoustic and fire partitions creating the new gym extension, gym dance studio, performance space, green room and practice studios
• Fitout of the aforementioned areas including the installation of wet and dry fire protection, new lighting, audio / visual equipment, flooring, FFE and joinery, plus painted feature walls

The College was fully operational during the construction works with considerations made to ensure the project was delivered with minimal impact to residents, educators and the general public.
