Australian Technology Park Project Completion

We are delighted to announce the safe and successful completion of the heritage restoration works at the Australian Technology Park (ATP) at Eveleigh.

Over 2,000 man hours worked with zero lost time injuries, MTIs or FAIs on the project, in a difficult live working environment. Workers were faced with live services throughout the site, as well as members of the public coming and going. Works were completed in just 15 days, well ahead of schedule.

No interruptions were caused to this functioning exhibition and convention centre, nor the associated office space.

The scope of works included:

  • The installation of circa 250 steel brackets onto steel purlins within 20 gables all at height
  • 500 lineal metres of wall cracks repaired
  • 80 brace plates cleaned and painted
  • Construction and deconstruction of significant amounts of scaffolding to allow access

Congratulations to the project team and subcontractors who worked to bring this project to completion ahead of programme.
