Campbells Cove Promenade Upgrade Project Completion

We are delighted to announce the safe and successful completion of promenade upgrade works at Campbells Cove for Place Management NSW.

Over 46 weeks of construction, 22,095 hours were worked to complete the levelling and widening of the existing promenade to create a spectacular waterfront leisure area, amphitheatre for public events with east-west connections from Campbells Cove to Hickson Road and The Rocks – with enhanced connections to the new Overseas Passenger Terminal wharf.

The works involved 48 high security bollards, 4,700m2 of paving, 120 precast elements installed with improved lighting, CCTV and signage over the extent of the site. Heritage finds have been incorporated into the finished product and shoreline markers have been continued throughout the precinct.

All works were undertaken with no impact on cruise ships and wharf users in one of the busiest pedestrian precincts in Sydney.
