Port Kembla Fencing Project Completion

Gartner Rose is delighted to announce the safe and successful completion of the replacement perimeter fencing at the Port Kembla Storm Plant for Sydney Water.

The project involved the replacement of existing chain mesh fence with 520m palisade dark green powder coated metal fence. It also involved removing existing concrete fence along the southern boundary and installing concrete dish drain and fence footing approximately 400mm wide as well as land remediation to facilitate stormwater flow. 250LM of deteriorated Armco barrier was removed with new Armco barrier reinstated along the road way. Additionally, improvements were also made to the stormwater system.

This project followed on from the remediation work that Gartner Rose undertook at Port Kembla and Palm Beach for Sydney Water as well as the successful fencing project at Bombo.

Works were completed on time, on budget and with zero LTIs. Congratulations to everyone for bringing this project to a safe completion and a special thanks to the project team, subcontractors and suppliers.
