Project Award for Pancakes on the Rocks Defit

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by Place Management NSW to complete the defit works required at the former Pancakes on the Rocks tenancy.

The lower ground and mezzanine levels to the heritage listed Metcalfe Bond Stores located at 78-84 George Street, The Rocks will see a complete defit further to base building works. Formally occupied by The Pancakes on the Rocks, these levels will become a space for commercial offices for new tenants to occupy.

The works appointed to Gartner Rose include sectional demolition of the Lower Ground Floor and Mezzanine Level, with the installation of new amenities on each level and connecting stairs. Further works will include new services to provide a functional space for the future tenants.

This project will compliment our previous projects within the area for the client, including the services upgrade at the Argyle and Cleland Bond Stores, our lift project at the new Pancakes on the Rocks tenancy (The Rocks Centre building) and our promenade upgrade at Campbells Cove.
