Wollongong Regional Centre Project Completion
We are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the major civil works for the Wollongong Regional Centre for Sydney Trains.
The scope of works on the North side included the subgrade and pavement preparation including over 2,500m2 of new AC and concrete footpaths, plinths, hardstands and new concrete kerbs, gutters and traffic island, paths to perimeter of modular building, new perimeter fencing complete with electric sliding access gates, new CCTV and access control including full provision of secure entry systems and intercom call points and new lighting.
The scope of works on the South side included a new 36 x 12m warehouse complete with 6 roller shutter doors and over 2400m2 of new AC and new concrete kerb, major earthworks dealing with quantities of approximately 1000t of asbestos contaminated materials, all stormwater and sewer trenching, pits and pipework, construction of new 36 x 12m concrete slab and related foundations for the new warehouse.
