
Bardwell Park Station Upgrade (current)
This project involves the Design and Construction of the Bardwell Park Station Upgrade as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program.
The scope of work will include, but not limited to:
- Design, procurement and installation of a new lift, new concourse and stairs to provide access to the station platforms from the overbridge
- New canopies to station entrance, concourse, stairs and continuous coverage along platforms up to boarding assistance zones
- Platform regrading and resurfacing including new tactile ground surface indicators to assist passengers with vision impairment and furniture relocation to provide clear accessible paths
- Improved amenities including conversion of the existing station toilets into a new family accessible toilet, a new unisex ambulant toilet, a staff unisex ambulant toilet and a cleaners room
- Ancillary work to existing customer facilities including furniture relocation, lighting, CCTV, wayfinding, water fountain, opal card readers, help points, public phone, hearing augmentation and bicycle hoops
- Provision of one new accessible parking space and accessible kiss and ride space on Hartill-Law Avenue
- Relocation and upgrade of the existing bus stops
- Upgraded accessible pathways connecting the accessible parking space, kiss and ride space and bus stops on Hartill-Law Avenue to the station
- Extension of existing station systems to suit the new works including CCTV, new hearing loops and wayfinding
- Power supply upgrades including new transformers
