All Saints Senior College Casula Project Completion

Gartner Rose is delighted to announce the successful completion of the science labs at Casula for Bovis Lend Lease.

Throughout the project, a total of 9,022 hours were worked during a 45 week period, with zero lost time injuries.

The scope of works involved the new construction of four science labs, one prep room, one chemical storage room, new access road and landscaping.

Works involved screw piling, suspended concrete floor slab, structural steel framework, clad in Scyon Axon vertical FC sheeting together with plasterboard, vinyl and carpet floor linings, wet lab joinery and furniture including fume cupboards, data and Interactive learning equipment in line with CEO vision for interactive learning into the 21st century.

This building was constructed on the side of a steep ravine in unstable ground conditions. Also in a bushfire prone area the building required a level of construction in accordance with strict bushfire controls.
