
Barrenjoey High School Project Completion
Gartner Rose is delighted to announce the safe and successful completion of the works at Barrenjoey High School for the Department of Education & Training.
Over 22 weeks of construction, and 8,785 hours worked, 6,040m2 of metal roof sheets were laid and 1,293m2 area of cladding across six school buildings.
The works were completed within a live school environment with careful planning to minimise the impact of students during their exams.
Further works included:
- The replacement of new roof sheets, cladding gutters and down pipes to six school buildings
- Repairs of rusted purlins
- Installation of seven new whirly bird ventilators
- Installation of six new dome skylights to the library and ten new skylights to the sports hall
- Replacement of fascias, purlins, wire, insulation and roof ventilators
