Gartner Rose Win Heritage Award
The NSW Minister for Planning, Kristina Keneally MP, today presented Gartner Rose with the 2009 National Trust Heritage Award for Conservation Built Heritage (Project over $1 million Corporate / Government).
This major award was for the sandstone conservation of 100 George St, The Rocks, undertaken on behalf of Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority.
Gartner Rose Project Manager, Marc Witham, congratulated all involved in this significant project, and made special mention of the efforts of the Gartner Rose foreman, Gary Male, and the client’s representative, Graeme Robertson for their efforts in bringing this project to completion.
Congratulations also to the chosen sub-contractor, Stone Mason and Artist, for their dedication and superb efforts.
Following last year’s Highly Commended award for the Boilerhouse project at the National Trust Awards, this year’s award cements Gartner Rose’s position as one of Australia’s leading heritage conservation companies.
