
NSW Minister announces Burwood Station Easy Access Upgrade
The Hon David Campbell MP, NSW Minister for Transport, today announced that Gartner Rose Pty Ltd had begun construction work on the Easy Access Upgrade of Burwood Station.
This project, in excess of $10 million in value, is a testament to the abilities of Gartner Rose in working in difficult areas of the Rail system.
Mr Campbell said: “The improvements at Burwood Station will increase the safety, comfort and accessibility of the station for customers who use it every day.”
The local MP for Strathfield, Virginia Judge, said that she was pleased that construction had commenced on this important local public transport project.
Gartner Rose is delighted to have been appointed to this project, and now brings the number of stations on which Gartner Rose is working to 13, comprising:
- Burwood Station
- St James Station
- Emu Plains Station
- Sefton Station
- Leightonfield Station
- Carramar Station
- Cabramatta Station
- Warwick Farm Station
- Casula Station
- Leumeah Station
- Minto Station
- Campbelltown Station
- Macarthur Station
