Lilyfield Light Rail Yard Project Completion
We are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the roofing works at the Lilyfield Rail Yard, as part of the Sydney Light Rail.
Over 4,500 hours were worked across 38 weeks of construction to complete the roofing of the Maintenance Building, Fire Pump Building and the Substation Building at the Lilyfield Rail Yard.
3,300m2 of Kingspan insulated roof sheeting was installed to the Maintenance Building, plus 250m2 of thermally insulated skylights and over 500lm of Kingspan insulated gutters. The exterior of the building was clad with Fielders boulevard and Longline 305. Cladding was complimented with 6mm thick stainless steel angles, used to create striking vertical corner caps to the ends of the Maintenance Building.
The Substation and Fire Pump Buildings underwent the installation of 300m2 of Kingspan insulated roof sheeting and the walls were completed with Colorbond Matte Boulevard cladding.
Congratulations to everyone for bringing this project to a safe completion and a special thank you to the project team, subcontractors and suppliers.
