Lower Level 1 Staff Accommodation Project Completion
Gartner Rose is delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the Art Gallery of NSW Lower Level 1 Staff Accommodation project.
This project involved refurbishment works to the existing lower and upper levels of the old library space, adjacent existing workshop and back of house areas, to provide office, amenities and light workshop accommodation for Gallery staff.
The scope of works included, but not limited to:
- Lower Library fitout as open plan office space, including installation of platform lift
- Upper Library fitout as meeting rooms, offices and recording studios
- End of trip (changeroom) facilities for staff
- Fitout of Art Gallery shop storage
- Female and male amenities
- Installation of offices and light workshop
- Fitout of meal rooms and additional office space
All works were completed within a live environment, with the Art Gallery of NSW remaining accessible and operational, with minimal disruption to staff and visitors during the construction works, whilst also being mindful of the sensitive heritage aspects of the building.
