Parliament House NSW Chambers Refurbishment Project Completion
We are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the refurbishment and restoration works to the Parliament House NSW Chambers.
Spanning two chambers, the scope of work consisted of wallpaper conservation and reproduction, french polishing, upholstery replacement, stenciling and metal leaf gilding, internal plastering, painting and decorating, as well as soft furnishings. Works also included heritage joinery alterations to provide accessibility to both legislative tables.
Associated works included lighting upgrades, a mechanical upgrade in the LC Chamber, sub floor fire suppression in the LA Chamber, audio integration, as well as all other integrated and associated mechanical, electrical, data, and security works.
This project was completed within a live environment, with Parliament House maintaining operation throughout the upgrade project.
Congratulations to everyone for bringing this project to a safe completion and a special thanks to the project team, subcontractors, and suppliers.
