Project Award for the Mount Colah Station Upgrade
We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by Sydney Trains to undertake the design and construct works for the upgrade at Mount Colah Station.
Design will start in May 2022, with Gartner Rose establishing site in March 2023 and project completion December 2024. The project consists of the following key features:
- New footbridge spanning the rail corridor providing access to the station, Pacific Highway and Pierre Close
- New lift and stairs on Pacific Highway providing access to new footbridge
- New lift and stairs on Pierre Close providing access to new footbridge
- New lift and stairs on island platform providing access to new footbridge
- Upgraded station entries ensuring accessible paths of travel
- Refurbishment work to the existing toilets to house new FAT and ambulant toilet
- HV power upgrade (by Sydney Trains)
- Relocation of major services i.e., signals and 1500 O/H wires
- Lighting, security, and other system upgrades
- Wayfinding signage
- Demolition of existing footbridge
- Platform resurfacing
