Project Award for the Parliament House NSW Chambers Refurbishment

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by the Department Of Parliamentary Services to undertake restoration and conservation works to both NSW Parliament’s Legislative Assembly (LA) Chamber and Legislative Council (LC) Chamber.

Spanning both chambers, works will consist of wallpaper conservation and reproduction, french polishing, upholstery replacement, stenciling and metal leaf gilding, internal plastering, painting and decorating, as well as heritage joinery alterations to provide accessibility to the LA table.

Associated works will include substantial lighting upgrades in both LA chambers, mechanical upgrade in the LC Chamber, mould remediation and accessibility upgrades, as well as integrated and associated mechanical, electrical, data and security works
