Successful WE16 Possession at Bardwell Park Station


We are delighted to advise the safe and successful utilisation of the WE16 possession for Bardwell Park Station Upgrade being delivered as part of the Safe Accessible Transport program.

As part of the WE16 possession (18 – 19 October 2025), the following scope was undertaken:

  • Removal of Temporary Works (city end of platform)
  • Installation of CSR route (70lm)
  • Installation of stormwater drainage (50lm)
  • Installation of Aco Channels (30lm)
  • 4no. light pole footings
  • Stormwater ULX (country end of platform) (13lm)
  • Installation of canopy steel structure (country end of platform)
  • Construction of canopy footings (city end) with 21m3 of concrete poured
  • Installation of concourse structural support steel (14t)
  • Installation of concourse precast concrete slabs (41t)
  • Installation of lift shaft structural steel structure (5t)
  • Installation of concourse steel screen posts (24 Units)
  • Temporary screens to concourse (30lm)
  • Removal of existing OHW horizontal screens
  • Replacement and testing of earthing and bonding circuits at Hartill Law Bridge
  • Temporary vertical screens to Hartill Law Overbridge (12lm)
  • Demolition of station building slab for new FAT bathroom (10m2)
  • Platform regrading and resurfacing (230m2)
  • Hoarding Adjustments

Over the course of the possession, 208 workers attended site over the two days with a total of 3,489 hours worked. The possession was completed with zero FAIs, MTI’s or incidents.
