Granville Interchange Upgrade
This project involved the upgrade of the Granville Station Bus Interchange and carparks on Enid Avenue and Rowell St, with works spanning three stages.
STAGE ONE
The first stage involved the construction of the bus interchange at Granville Station, the scope of works including:
- Demolition, removal and construction of a new pedestrian ramp, toilet block and stairs
- Kerbs and stormwater drainage
- Concrete Pavement works
- Roadwork in Memorial Drive
- Footpath paving including tactiles
- New bus shelters and canopies
- New safety measures installed, including CCTV
- Street furniture
STAGE TWO
The second stage involved the design and construction of the new 2,025m2 Rowell Street Granville Commuter carpark. Works included:
- Removal of existing kerbs and bus stop islands
- Earthworks for new concrete pavement infills and landscape works
- Concrete pavement infills
- Kerbs and stormwater drainage
- Asphalt concrete resurfacing
- Linemarking
- Wheel stops and bollards, including removable bollards
- Additional lighting including removal / relocation of existing light poles
- Landscape works including fencing and new signage
STAGE THREE
The third stage consisted of associated civil works on Enid Avenue. The works within the carpark were completed whilst the carpark was operational and open to the public.
