Rose Seidler House
This project involved complete refurbishment works within the Rose Seidler House at Wahroonga, including a major electrical upgrade of the heritagelisted house which now functions as a museum. Associated works included roofing, waterproofing, cladding and painting.
Throughout the works, attention to detail was given to heritage fixtures and fittings, as well as landscaped features, to provide an authentic and sensitive outcome, emulating the original intent of the area.
High level coordination of building services including hydraulic, electrical, mechanical and fire service upgrades was also executed paying respect to heritage aspects of the precinct.
The project also involved the careful demolition of building elements including some asbestos, all of which was successfully managed by Gartner Rose.
