Central Waterproofing & Paving Project Completion

We are delighted to advise the safe and successful completion of the waterproofing, paving and heritage stone restoration works at Central Station for Sydney Trains.

Works included the removal of all existing pavers on the Eastern Forecourt, installation of waterproofing membranes, installation of the City of Sydney Council-approved pavers, and remedial and new work to existing sandstone on the building.

The project presented many challenges including the interaction with the general public, access to the site, delivery of materials and protection during weather events.

Congratulations to everyone for bringing this project to a safe completion, and a special thanks to the project team, subcontractors and suppliers.
