Project Award for Ken Birdsey Park Amenities Building


We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by Glascott Landscaping & Civil to undertake the construction of the Ken Birdsey Park Amenities Building, on behalf of Blacktown City Council.

Spanning an area of 1,310m2, the amenities building, designed by Sam Crawford Architects, will consist of:

  • Community / Club Room and Club Storeroom
  • Admin Office
  • 2 no. Sports Storeroom
  • First Aid Room
  • Umpire Changeroom
  • 4 no. Team Changeroom (inclusive of shower and WC)
  • Additional WC Facilities
  • Accessible Changeroom
  • Baby Changeroom
  • BBQ Storeroom
  • Kiosk and 2 no. Kiosk Storerooms

Works are scheduled to start in September with completion planned for July 2025.

This is our third recent project designed by Sam Crawford Architects, and a welcome return to working with Glascott Landscaping & Civil after previous successful collaborations at the Coal Loader (Waverton), Australian Technology Park (Eveleigh) and The Goods Line (Ultimo).
