Successful WE50 Possession at Mount Colah Station


We are delighted to advise the safe and successful utilisation of the WE50 possession at Mount Colah Station.

As part of the WE50 possession, the following scope was undertaken:

  • Demolition of existing platform finish
  • Installation and prep of 400 tonne of subbase
  • Placement of 156 tonne of asphalt over 2,000m2 of platform
  • Painting of platform copings
  • Removal of scaffold isolation screen
  • Installation of 20m of precast retaining wall and screed
  • Approximately 200 tonne of backfill to retaining wall
  • Installation of permanent fencing to new retaining wall
  • Removal of temporary footbridge screens
  • Commissioning of new HV infrastructure
  • Commissioning of new LV infrastructure
  • Installation of 10 new platform LED lights and poles
  • Installation of 2 new OHW stanchions

Throughout the possession, 146 workers attended site over the three days with a total of 3,322 hours worked. The possession was completed with zero FAIs, MTI’s or incidents.
