Project Award for Rozelle Switching Substation

We are delighted to advise that Gartner Rose has been appointed by John Holland and CPB Contractors Joint Venture to undertake the construction of the new Sydney Trains Switching Substation at Rozelle Rail Yards as part of the WestConnex 3B – Rozelle Interchange Project.

The overall WestConnex 3B – Rozelle Interchange Project scope is to design and construct an interchange with associated infrastructure to provide connections from the main tunnel works infrastructure to the surface road network at City West Link, Victoria Road, Iron Cove Bridge and Anzac Bridge, and provide for connections to the future Western Harbour Tunnel.

Gartner Rose will construct the new switching substation within Rozelle Rail Yards, providing the building services and electrical bonding works including associated civil and concrete works. The project is expected to be completed by September 2020.
