
Emu Plains Station Upgrade
This project involved the upgrade of the easy access facilities at Emu Plains Railway Station. The scope of works included:
- Supply and installation of two passenger lifts
- Design and construction of a new canopy to Platform 1
- Design and construction of two family accessible toilets by modifying existing toilets in main station building
- Existing ticket window reinstated
- Design and construction of a new staff toilet
- Supply and installation of water tanks for toilets, cleaning and irrigation
- Supply and installation of anti-throw screens
- Supply and installation of tactile indicators
- Provision of four disabled car parking spaces
- Demolition of specified existing structures
Over 20,000 hours were worked on site, with the project completed two months ahead of schedule and under budget.
