Emu Plains Station Upgrade


This project involved the upgrade of the easy access facilities at Emu Plains Railway Station. The scope of works included:

  • Supply and installation of two passenger lifts
  • Design and construction of a new canopy to Platform 1
  • Design and construction of two family accessible toilets by modifying existing toilets in main station building
  • Existing ticket window reinstated
  • Design and construction of a new staff toilet
  • Supply and installation of water tanks for toilets, cleaning and irrigation
  • Supply and installation of anti-throw screens
  • Supply and installation of tactile indicators
  • Provision of four disabled car parking spaces
  • Demolition of specified existing structures

Over 20,000 hours were worked on site, with the project completed two months ahead of schedule and under budget.
