SPS14 was built in 1857 and is a heritage listed building. It was relocated from the centre of the site to the North West corner by Baulderstone in 2014 to make way for the new parkland. It has been adapted for reuse as one of the park’s public amenities block. Gartner Rose was contracted to provide the internal fit out, which included stud wall partitions with terrazzo and aluminium cladding panels, stainless steel mirrors, Vitrabond clad doors, bins, handrails, soap dispensers and toilet roll holders. In addition, the fit out scope included the recreation of the original wet well rim, which is a visible feature in the building’s concrete floor.
