Ourimbah Station Upgrade
The Design and Construct upgrades at Ourimbah Station were delivered as part of the Transport Access Program (TAP). TAP aims to provide a safe and enhanced travelling experience for public transport commuters by delivering easily accessible, modern, secure and integrated transport infrastructure. Within this program, the completed station works will improve the access of the station for the community.
This project involved various station facility upgrades including the installation of two new passenger lifts to connect the platforms to Pacific Highway and the commuter car park via the existing footbridge. The station entrance was also upgraded to improve accessibility to the station.
Further key activities included:
- New stairs and access ramps to various sections of the station including to the commuter carpark and Pacific Highway forecourt to the platform
- Upgrade of station amenities including the Family Accessible Toilet (FAT), waiting rooms and carpark spaces
- Power supply upgrade
- Platform resurfacing
- Upgrades to lighting, wayfinding and security
